GIRLS SOCCER - 2010 SEASON
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
SMITH COUNTY 5 - JACKSON COUNTY 0 as Freshmen BETSY TRAINHAM scores her first goal of the young season. AMANDA PIPER with good ball handling, SHELBY DENNIS with continual notice for her play, and the entire SMITH COUNTY team effort made coach NOLAN quite proud of his teams effort. BETH with 3 and SKYLER with 1 rounded out their scoring.
SHELBY O'NEALS goal on a good effort was the highlight of the evening for WHITE COUNTY as they lost to WARREN COUNTY 10 - 1. LAUREN ROLLER demonstrated her ball handling ability throughout the evening for WARREN COUNTY. CHELSEA KIRBY in the goal for WHITE COUNTY continues to impress with the number of saves she makes each game while under relentless pressure.
Murfreesboro's BLACKBURN high school's three earned goals were enough to beat LIVINGSTON ACADEMY with only one goal for the evening in what was a good showing for the much smaller school. Livingston's KAT NIGRO once again found the back of the net even though being marked tight the entire evening.
